Deals. Great Clips. Smoothie King. Alltel. Game Stop. Sally Beauty Supply. Panera Bread. DeVille Developments said there is a lease signed with women's retailer Dots, and the company is in negotiations with another national women's retailer and two national restaurants to be in the strip mall. There is other space available, but there are no new outer lots. Outer lots are currently occupied by Lion Garden Chinese Buffet and Seafood and Burger King.
2 robbery at Rte. 46 beauty store
SADDLE BROOK -- For the second time in two weeks, police are investigating an armed robbery at Sally Beauty Supply on Route 46. A man and a woman, each wearing a cloth mask and a hooded sweatshirt, entered the store just after 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, said Detective Sgt. John Zotollo of the Saddle Brook Police. .
Florence police search for robbery suspect
Florence police are searching for a suspect who they say walked into a beauty supply store Saturday and robbed it at gunpoint, Florence Police Maj. Carlos Raines said. The incident happened about 9:40 a.m. at Sally’s Beauty Supply on West Palmetto Street, Raines said. Police say a man entered the store, asked for directions and then asked for change for a $5 bill, Raines said. As the clerk opened the register, she noticed the man had a gun and closed the register, Raines said. The suspect then demanded she opened the register again. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Raines said. The suspect is described as a white man in his late teens or early twenties, with a slender build and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a green and black hooded sweatshirt with a black toboggan and baggy jeans, Raines said.

Shoppers head to WESPAC's Fair Trade Festival
WHITE PLAINS - In the world of fair trade, even the goats have a decent quality of life. In this case, the goats are in Pennsylvania and supply the milk that Annie Adams of Bloomingburg, N.Y., uses to make her soap. "We're helping them as well," she said of the goats' owner. "Her Web site is a tribute to her goats." Adams, formerly of Dobbs Ferry and now of the Catskill Soap Company, was offering lilac handmade goat's milk soap from her table in Asbury Hall at Memorial United Methodist Church in White Plains. Twenty-eight vendors had set up shop yesterday across the hall's pale-pink floor tiles as part of the Fair Trade Festival sponsored by the WESPAC Foundation, a White Plains-based peace and justice action network.
